Wednesday Morning in Pennsylvania
Good Morning OFF Family,
Well, I failed to get any packing or cleaning done yesterday. I had many errands to do, plus had to make nice at my sis-in-law's for dinner yesterday. Don't get me wrong. I love my sis-in-law. I just didn't have a minute to really visit, or socialize, but I did anyway. So, today, I'm staying home, and packing and waiting for and making calls. I have to speak with my hematologist's office about two things. I also need to find a family practice doctor. My family doctor wants my blood pressure checked in a month. I'm not sure about that one. Not about what he said, but about what I should do. My daughter doesn't get sick, so she doesn't go to one. My son-in-law rarely gets sick, so he usually goes to one of those immediate care places. So, she only had one doctor to recommend, who I'm going to check out.
So, today, I have some more packing to do, some cleaning, and some more baking.

Good morning Trish and all my OFF sistas!
Oh, happy day! I'm off to the airport to pick up Butch! I am so happy to have him home again. Then we will start our long drive back to Nacogdoches. Closing is set for 2 p.m. on Friday--unless the world comes to an end first! LOL! Crazy Mayan calendar. Reminds me of the Y2K scare in 1999. People are crazy.
I'll be out of touch for the next couple of days. Everyone be safe and have a care for yourself and your loved ones.

Afternoon Trish and Vic...just a quick stop in today...carpet guys are here and need to keep an eye on them so they don't smoke in the newly painted apartmetns and they put ALL the carpet strips in this time!!!! Jason is so excited to have his carpet finally so he can now move in!!!!!!! WOOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!

I think my post went to cyber space! Anyway I'm up after two days in bed from a migraine headache from hell! This Chicago weather is kicking my butt! I don't think I'm comming in the winter again.
Today has me going out to lunch with some friends from Milwaukee with our daughter and my husband. yes I did ring him with me!
Our friends might be going on a cruise with us in March so I'm bringing my IPad to show them the cruise line we r going on and the route out of Miami.
Anyway life is good now!

Tri****'s tough finding a new doctor in a new town ... I've had to do it many times, so it's doable. I usually ask someone I know (usually a coworker). It workers well that way.
Carla, glad your headache is gone. I woke up with a mini one this morning with the storm coming in, but it's gone now.
Talked with Mom this morning; she sounds good, although she says she's "disgusted with my body"... I can identify with that sometimes. Now I think she knows how I feel with all my aches and pains. She has never been that sick before. My brother discovered she hasn't been taking her blood pressure meds as she should. Plus, she hasn't been taking all her diuretics or potassium. So in rehab, they'll be giving her all her meds ... maybe she'll get better that way.
Mom was getting ready to be transferred to the rehab floor ... her hospital has one on the fifth floor, so she didn't need to leave the hospital at all, just get wheeled to a new room on a new floor. That will be better for her.
Didn't do much yesterday at all ... after PT, just came home and vegged mostly. I was really tired. I did unpack one box of kitchen stuff I found ... my wine glasses and stuff. Didn't do much else.
Anyway, I have to work again tonight and for the next three nights. Have a good day.
Eileen.....I am glad your mom only had to move to another floor. Hope she is doing well. Gary maybe should set up her pills for each week and then he can tell if she is taking them of not. Maybe she just doesn't remember if she took them. If they are set up then she can see if she did. I do that for my sister. It works well for her. Just a suggestion!

Connie, that's what he's planning to do if she comes home. He didn't realize she wasn't taking her meds. For instance, the blood pressure meds, she said she only took them if she was shaky .... no, those are taken daily. When he found out what meds she had and how often she was supposed to take them, he was astounded. She wasn't taking any of them properly.

Judy....the slave driver....LOL!! I know what you mean about following up on things. Those guys like to skip things if they aren't closely supervised. So Jason is moving on site. That will be very helpful having him there to help out. He sounds like a really great guy....the little redneck!!
Vickie....so glad Butch is home again. You always seem so much more relaxed when he is around.
I fell in our icy driveway last night. They sure don't clean it up very well!! I have a heck of a headache. I hurt pretty bad last night but am better today. I was caring in groceries and they went everywhere. Must have looked pretty funny if any one was watching. Tonight there is the usually Wednesday Meat Raffle. After that there is a party for one of the owners as yesterday was her 60th birthday!! I wasn't planning on going but I will because of her party.
